Data Quality Analyst
Code Red Associates (CRA) is a leading supplier of Permanent Contract ICT resource to a variety of Blue Chip, SME expanding organisations throughout the UK. We are currently recruiting for a Data Quality Analyst with a forward thinking evolving organisation in London that are committed to employee development.
The purpose of the role will be to identify areas for data quality improvement and to help restore data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control, improvement or process design strategies. You will also measure and report to line managers on the progress of data quality improvements and participate in data quality audits.
The successful candidate will not only have data analysis cleansing experience but will have been involved in formulating, implementing delivering data quality strategies in the past as well as in defining and driving a customer focussed data improvement culture. You will be used to handling large data sets, matching data to business rules, and be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills that is adept at communicating issues and securing buy in at all levels. You will have further experience in defining and mapping business processes, workflow concepts and data flows, whilst being involved in business process reengineering using business analysis techniques and producing documentation accordingly. Technically you will have the ability to identify sets (and subsets) of data across multiple joins/unions of tables, have experience of SQL scripting to interrogate data sets and have experience with Excel spread sheets.
Experience of working with data in a Social Housing environment would be highly beneficial and experience of a data quality application called 'Dataflux' would be desirable but by no means a pre-requisite.
