Data Quality Analyst (Asset Management)
As Data Quality Analyst you will be joining a team of Data Specialists and acting as the first point of contact for all data management issues/ queries for the whole business within the Governance area of business. The role offers great scope to further develop your data management skills, expertise of systems, knowledge of financial instruments and be involved in ad-hoc projects.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
-Adhering to the regulatory control framework.
-Verifying and quality control of all data within the internal systems.
-Risk analysis understanding the use and impact of data to key stakeholders.
-Anticipate data risks/ issues and investigating any exceptions that occur in a timely and efficient manner.
-Reviewing and identifying process improvements to ensure data is managed effectively and in line with business expectations.
-Being the point of contact for all data related queries/ issues and conducting investigations to find best resolutions.
-Ensuring integrity of data delivered to stakeholders is to the highest quality.
-Support the implementation of controls and procedures throughout Data Operations.
-Building strong working relationships with all areas of business from back to front office and fully understanding their daily operational functions.
-Challenge the status-quo to drive change and pro-actively get involved in duties big or small to improve processes/ accuracy.
-Ad-hoc projects.
To qualify for the role you MUST have:
-Solid experience of working within a Data Quality/ Data Control/ Data Management/ Data Operations role/ team and come from an Asset Management firm.
-Firm understanding of Solvency II.
-IMC/ IOC Qualified or currently studying.
-Broad systems experience including GoldenSource, Quasar, Bloomberg etc.
-Advanced Excel skills (creating Macros, VBA).
-A can-do attitude with a positive approach to work and highly enjoy problem solving
-An extremely inquisitive mind, questioning the status quo and proven experience of improving processes/ system implementations.
-Strong willingness to learn new concepts and apply self to improve and build upon your current knowledge.
The successful candidate will also possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as you will be facing off to a wide range of teams within the business and senior management. Be highly organized, a strong team-player and willing to get stuck in, and have a strong eye for detail as you will be managing high volumes of sensitive data.
