Data Scientist- Text Mining – Web Scraping (Python, C++) – Investment Research Analyst
This is a new role that will be building tools and applications and presenting data that will support global investment research. Candidates must have an academic background in the quantitative sciences, Computer Science, Math, Stats, Physics and must have exceptional coding skills in (Python-strongly preferred) and C or C++, Java Ruby or other scripting languages. This is a demanding role that will require data base design experience and proven experience scraping and parsing web based data for nuggets of information. Candidates should have some experience in the financial markets and must bring a passion for data mining and coding. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a passion for generating insights from data to leverage these skills in an investment management opportunity.
