Data Servicing Support Advisor - Northampton - £9.15 per hour - 8 month contract
Barclaycard in Northampton are looking for the above Data Servicing Support Advisor. The role holder will be responsible for completing the RRD rejected manual voucher reports and dealing with the financial input of entries. Supporting the Data Servicing teams with non-complex financial queries and the timely collection of all outstanding funds through risk management reports and initiating invoices. In addition, undertake the daily reconciliation of Multicurrency systems and processes general administrative duties as required
You will be required to be a Team-Player and to offer a first class customer service and will help to maintain existing service levels. The work commands the necessity for both speed across all tasks as there is the potential for financial retailer impact.
The Data Servicing Business Unit sits under GPA (Global payment Acceptance) Operations within BBS O T (Barclaycard Business Services Operations and Technology) and comprises of 5 on-shore teams with a current FTE / headcount of 74, key team responsibilities include:
• The preparation and processing of incoming / outgoing payments to the value of £8 billion per month
• Dealing with all GPA related customer and financial amendments, queries, closures, exception handling and system reconciliations
• Credit Control including manual invoicing, manual payer, outstanding funds and retuned direct debits
• Processing of financial disputes: retrievals, chargebacks, arbitrations and associated merchant support
