This position is responsible for understanding and documenting the current state data architecture and rationalize those elements against existing enterprise assets highlighting variances. This position consult on projects (as requested) to ensure that the business understands the risk associated with new solutions and help them build procedures that will help mitigate that risk
Responsibilities:
- Document and consume high-level logical data interaction diagrams
- Understand, advocate and augment the principles of information technology strategies.
- Analyze enterprise business drivers to determine corresponding change requirements.
- Analyze the IT environment to detect critical deficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Coordinate solution architecture implementation and modification activities.
- Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software product standards, as well as the design of standard software configurations.

- 8 + years of experience in the IT profession, with 3 + years serving in a data architecture role and 3 + years of systems analysis experience
- Proven expertise with Data Management, Data Warehousing, and Analytics, including extensive implementation experiences
- Deep experience with conceptual, logical and physical data modeling for large databases
- Demonstrated knowledge of data technologies including large relational databases (Oracle or DB2 preferred), data management, data modeling and integration tools (e.g. ETL)
- Experience with data warehousing systems.
- Excellent analytical and technical skills.
- Experience in a large organization, with high-performance, large transaction volume database systems
- Knowledge using Medicare and Retirement standard publication methods is preferred
- Undergraduate degree in computer science, system analysis or equivalent experience.
