Our specialist teams are advising and supporting Data Transformation and Data Quality programmes for several leading Capital Markets firms actively working to unlock step-change benefits in business process effectiveness, information quality, risk control and capital efficiency through strategic investment into data infrastructure, processes and controls. As a result of recent new client engagements, we are now seeking to expand and strengthen our service delivery teams across a range of Data Management and Architecture disciplines.
With openings from Experienced Consultant through to Manager level, our teams work with clients in definition and adoption of Enterprise-wide Logical Physical Data Architectures, Data Standards and Meta-Data Dictionaries, to drive transformational improvement in the quality and value of information assets through embedding effective Data Quality Measurement, Control Processes Governance into business operations and change.

Experience and Background
• Min. 5 years+ of relevant Data Architecture or Data Management operational or change/project roles within Tier 1/2 Capital Markets firms
• Track record of individual, measurable contribution to business benefits arising from specific and demonstrable areas of data improvement or rationalisation
• In-depth domain knowledge of either Risk, Finance, Treasury, Operations or Reference/Market Data within Capital Markets and/or Global Banking businesses, including deep familiarity with associated data classes and financial products / instruments
• Must be able to demonstrate involvement in strategic data initiatives, and likely to be experienced in integration and/or data migration programmes, MDM, ETL, data-warehousing or BI/reporting initiatives
• Previous experience of Risk models, regulatory capital/compliance, Finance PL / IPV or Data Remediation programmes a significant advantage
• Previous consultancy experience an advantage
Qualifications and Skills
• Degree qualified - minimum 2:1 or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of data modelling techniques (eg. conceptual/semantic models; logical data models; ER models; XML schemas; object/data class modelling)
• Working familiarity of relevant Data Management and/or Data Architecture industry frameworks (eg. DAMA DMBOK), and relevant industry data standards (FpML; FIX; MDDL; ISO standards)
• Experience with relevant Data Modelling / CASE / EA tools a major advantage (eg. CA ERwin, Rational / Casewise / Sparx Enterprise Architect)
• Relevant Data Management or Enterprise Architecture certification a major advantage (eg. CDMP; ISEB in Data Management Essentials; TOGAF; Zachman)
• Understanding of SOA design approaches and Data Architecture principles (eg. Enterprise Messaging protocols; Temporal/Bi-Temporal approaches; Data Services / Data Virtualisation) a major advantage
• Experience with Meta-Data Dictionary and/or Data Profiling tools/initiatives a major advantage
• Consultancy grade documentation and stakeholder communication skills
• Confident and relaxed presentation manner
