An opportunity has arisen within the Enterprise Data Group for a candidate to make an impact as a Reporting Support Analyst.
The Data Support Reporting Team’s functions include requests for access to the data via stored procedures, bulk loading of the data, the granting of user access, and custom data extracts. The role also includes gathering accurate report criteria from our clients, documenting those requirements, and assisting with the creation, designing, formatting and distribution of reports used for data management, risk mitigation, data quality and regulatory compliance.
Your daily tasks will include:
•Working on customer requests: database queries, bulk loads and their administration
•Provide Level 2 Business type support for the data model and downstream applications
•Working on the design and automation of reports
•Maintaining and monitoring regular reports and database batch jobs
•Building rapport and communicating with our internal customers
Skills Required:
• 1-3 years experience minimum in the field of database operation or data reporting
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Intermediate knowledge of the theory of databases
• Excellent communication skills in English both orally and in writing
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
• Experience in data handling and presentation of data
Skills Desired:
• Experience with reporting software frameworks like Crystal Reports, scripting skills (e.g. Visual Basic, Perl) and MS Access is a plus
