Essential Functions:
- Act as a liaison between the IT department and the business client.
- Collect, analyze, review, document, and communicate business needs and requirements.
- Assess the needs of a client through direct interaction, and look for opportunities to develop and grow the business through effective use of technology.
- Collaborate with IT professionals to determine if solutions currently exist (internally or externally) or whether new solutions are feasible.
- Collaborate with or provide consulting to business partners on business process design.
- Take a broad perspective to determine how such solutions will impact existing work processes and systems, and how to manage the integration.
- Research and facilitate the evaluation of 'buy vs. build' decisions.
- Proactively identify technology opportunities that impact corporate business strategies and performance.
- Build consensus on IT investment decisions with executives in IT, Finance and other corporate functions.
- Lead technical team in process to complete reporting and analytic components of programs
- This position will provide vital information management support to the Corporate Wide Programs / Projects as they impact Southern California.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS, related field, or a 4 years of additional work related experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in analysis of complex business requirements, systems upgrades, workflows and application capabilities.
- Solid understanding of Analytics and Reporting business processes, the key drivers and measures of success for the business, and the short- and long-term direction of the business and related technologies.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate Information Management (Data Warehousing).
- Works with business partners within one or more business unit to align technology solutions with business strategies.
- Demonstrates an in depth knowledge of a business area in the context of the business client's unit to identify and communicate how IT solutions can assist.
- Experience supporting one or more highly complex business processes, requiring design or integration of technical solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical lead or supervisory position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data integration tools
- Understanding of reporting tools (SAS, Cognos, Business Objects)
- MBA or MS degree is a plus
- Strong Leadership, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
- 8 years experience in Oracle (8, 9i, 10g - including GRID and RAC)
