Data Warehouse Production Support
Our client in Jersey City is currently looking for a full time, permanent employee to join their team in a production support capacity. The candidate needs to have good database warehouse experience (SQL and Oracle) as a minimum, and unix/linux experience. Salary is 100-140k.No relocation assistance is available.
The successful candidate will be a team lead, responsible for the Data Warehouse "run the bank" production support with the following responsibilities:
- Provide support for mission critical Equities Post Trade Technology
- Pro-actively improve the quality of systems and service, and increase business value.
- Development of tools and scripts to automate current manual processes/tasks thus improving the efficiency of the team and allowing the take on of more complex and challenging tasks.
- Undertake projects as required, including, but not restricted to, the following areas: - capacity and performance management, monitoring initiatives, infrastructure upgrades, web based tools, reporting and documentation
