Data Warehouse/BI Developer - Informatica, Cognos and .Net, SQL Server
One of our Insurance clients based in the heart of London is looking for a developer to join their team in the Actuarial department.
You will be responsible for:
- The design, development and implementation of business applications using and integrating various technologies.
- Developing requirements and helping define technical architecture.
- Hands on analysis of business developed SQL, MS Access, MS Excel tools (some of which interface to various internal and vendor applications) to understand data, data movement and calculations in order to recommend process technical improvements.
You will have:
-Superior skills in SQL data design of large data volume required
-The ability to quickly learn technologies to achieve business solution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Solid understanding of Microsoft .NET platform and Framework, working knowledge of web services, Windows Platform, messaging architectures, data models, UML
- Excellent experience establishing and maintaining data warehouses with Informatica
- Excellent experience developing reports with Cognos
Bonus skills:
-Experience with complex modeling or financial applications for actuarial analysis
-Experience working with offshore developers
-Experience with ASP.Net with Web application development
