Description:
Do you have the passion for ETL/BI and the ability to speak business with the clients then this is the place for you. Our client is in need of ETL/BI Solutions Consultant who is technical but also has the ability to meet with and discuss the implementations with the clients.

You will work in Microsoft BI tools and technologies: Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Analysis Services 2008, Reporting Services, and SharePoint including strong SQL Server database design and programming experience to build powerful yet easy to maintain and extend data warehouses, Analysis Server cubes and data visualization views.
Source and extract data from ERP systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics (Axapta/AX, Navision/NAV and Great Plains/GP, Solomon/SL), JD Edwards, Oracle EBS. However, client data sources are many and varied, and may include customer internally developed systems.
Consult with clients and prospects for their data warehousing and BI requirements
Contribute to the internal product improvement process, based on their first-hand customer- and prospect-facing experience.
Establish a professional and trusting relationship with customers and prospects.
Take ownership of projects and be prepared to do whatever it takes to make every installation a success under minimal supervision.

Requirements:
Two or more years experience in a BI solutions delivery environment including demonstrate experience in ETL.
Microsoft technology and solutions experience as detailed above.
Advanced Transact SQL or PL/SQL skills a must, including Stored Procedures, Functions, Advanced SQL Query writing skills (CTEs, advanced functions).
Design, maintenance of or reporting from ERP systems a must. Knowledge and/or implementation experience in Microsoft AX preferred.
Demonstrated, excellent verbal and written communication skills for requirements development and on-going client communication throughout the project.
Demonstrable, self-starter attitude and ability to bring projects to a successful conclusion with little or no supervision.
Willingness and ability to learn new tools and technology quickly.
Computer Science or Business degree or equivalent.
Travel 25% of the time when needed
