Data Warehouse ETL Developer
Position Description:
Positions in this function use advanced statistical and inferential analysis programs to provide specialized data analysis. Organizes, sorts and filters data in order to distinguish patterns and recognize trends. Develops and maintains data preparation and validation routines to support data mining and has experience in creating complex data mining algorithms. Selects, recommends and applies appropriate analytic and statistical methodologies and techniques to execute against an analysis plan or research objectives. Evaluates new analytics tools and methodologies for possible deployment. creates data warehouses/marts and/or develops data mining analyses to support business decisions.

- Selects, recommends and applies appropriate analytic and statistical methodologies and techniques to execute against an analysis plan or research objectives
- Evaluates new analytics tools and methodologies for possible deployment
- Creates data warehouses/marts and/or develops data mining analyses to support business decisions
- Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses.
- Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in Oracle, UNIX, SQL, and PL SQL experience
- 2+ years experience in building data warehouse environment, working with design, loading, and ETL processes
- 3+ years experience in full cycle applications development
- 2+ years experience writing system requirements documentation, gathering and analyzing data
Assets:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Experience in the managed care industry
- Medicaid business and claims knowledge
- Technical and team leadership experience
