REQUIRED
10+ years of IT experience
5-7 years of experience in managing DW / BI projects
4-5 years of management experience
Strong in DW (Data Warehouse) / BI project processes and delivering the solution iteratively
Strong in DW project methodologies and data architecture (Inmon, Kimball, etc)
Good understanding of DW technologies including ETL tools like IBM DataStage, Informatica or others
Good understanding of reporting tools like Cognos, Oracle, etc
Experience working with C-level executives
Experience with demand management tools like Clarity and project management tools MS Office Project version 10
Excellent communication (written and verbal).

PREFERRED
Experience in a Freight Forwarding, transportation, or logistics or similar industry
Complete DW / BI lifecycle implementation in a complex large and global organization
Experience in managing and/or building DW and reporting environments from ground up
Experience working with onsite and offshore development models, global experience
Experience with Application Lifecycle Management tools like IBM RTC, HP QC, etc

RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate DW design and development activities across geographies in Portland, India and South Africa
Responsible for delivery of the ONE Enterprise DW solution for the company
Coordinate day-to-day activities of multiple DW and data related projects and team members in Portland, South Africa and India to ensure on-time delivery of ETL jobs and reports
Collaborates with Data Analysts and Architects on coordinated delivery of technical specifications, data models, EDW reporting design activities
Collaborate with the Freight Forwarding development teams, Oracle Financials, CLD and other IT teams in delivering the reporting solutions to support their application reporting needs
Works with users across geographies, functional areas, development teams and business entities
Develop strong relationships with business executives and ensuring open communication
Performs dependency and impact analysis due to changes in the upstream systems as the DW solution rollout is an integral part of a very large and complex global project and an overarching BI program
Develops Project plans and performs task allocation and management of the global BI team
Effective status reporting to company PMO, Sr. Management and business sponsors
Ensures compliance to company SDLC processes, in addition to demand management, change management, methodologies, configuration management, etc.
Facilitates some of reporting specifications discussions with Business Analysts, Architects and C-level executives
Works closely with Senior Management in managing expectations, budgets, and delivery
Create and maintain project plans that communicates tasks, milestone dates, status and resource allocation
