One of our best clients is seeking a Database Administration Manager. They are a global leader in transportation and logistics, have been in business for more than 75 years and have a reputation for implementing world-class technology through their IT department. This is a management position and as such, the organization will need someone with proven leadership and strategic planning abilities who has superior knowledge of Oracle. Needed proficiencies include process and information modeling, architectural development methodologies, project, and extensive knowledge of data warehouses and BI systems. This role will have 15 direct reports and will be responsible for managing all aspects of implementation projects. The right candidate is a leader who has excellent communication skills and experience with problem resolution.
This role reports to the Business Intelligence Team, and works closely with business and senior IT leadership to identify and establish information requirements, develop and implement data warehouse strategies that utilize BI systems to enhance business processes, and provide insight to business leaders.
Preferences:
*Bachelor's required, Master's preferred
*3+ years in management role
*7+ years with Oracle
*7+ years in software development/support with business intelligence based enterprise systems.
