Database Administrator 4 (TS) Job in Arlington, Virginia Us
We require an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to assist the transformation of the Counterintelligence and Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) process. You will be working with a mid-sized team in a fast paced development environment. The team is highly motivated and includes experienced and passionate CI/HUMINT professionals. .
The DBA is expected to help manage database structures, disk space utilization, operations, and applicationperformance of a multi-user Solaris computing system. The candidate will provide recommendations on the design, development and maintenance hardware architecture and a server disaster recovery strategy. The candidate will troubleshoot database and application performance issues and recommend appropriate actions. The candidate will implement DoDIIS security policies and standards while ensuring data integrity by evaluating, proposing, implmenting and managing software and hardware solutions. The position is at a customer site and frequent customer interaction is required. .
Basic Qualifications: 10 Years with Bachelors; 8 Years with Masters. US Citizenship required. TS security clearance required for day 1 start; with the ability to obtain a SCI.
Knowledge of web applications (WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache) a plus
Knowlege of DoDIIS Security policies and standards
