Database Architect
- Seeking experienced hands–on database architect with firm understanding of data model design concepts, implementation of data warehouses/data marts, and experience with supporting enterprise initiatives in analytics
- Excellent written and oral communications skills and comfortable interacting with executive management, clients, and internal teams
- Proven experience of working to tight deadlines, multitasking, and involvement in complex, team oriented projects
- Intermediate/advanced (minimum 5 years) experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational database server to assist the team with:
- Improving database performance and schema design for existing and future data repositories
- Implementing optimized data marts for application access
- Designing, planning (buy/build) and implementing tools for loading XBRL data into databases
- Participating in Audit Analytics architecture planning efforts using SOA principles, including design of taxonomies, services, APIs, and infrastructure to incorporate numerous data repositories, and interfaces to analytics tools
- In–depth understanding and experience with XML required; XBRL a plus
