Job Number: 57067 Description -CIBER is searching for Database Systems Architect for a client that has created a new Systems Architecture Team to overhaul and streamline the process of designing and implementing new projects and applications that will reside in its existing Data Centers. This team will include subject matter experts that will work together to create build-book documentation that will be used to procure, implement and support new projects and applications. -Responsible for the strategy, design and implementation of all Database related components. Will also be expected to bring the team new ideas and better, more efficient methods of doing business. We also expect this person to function as a technical advisor on any Database related topics surrounding Oracle, SQL, DB2 and others. Qualifications -8 years IT experience -5 years extensive DBA / Database Architecture experience -Must have experience with Database design - will be the SME (subject matter expert) for all Databases -Responsible for the strategy, design and implementation of all Database related components in a dual data center environment. -Responsible for the research, planning and development of all technical design documentation as well as providing oversight and coordination for all Database related implementations and research projects. -Extensive Replication experience is a must. -Ability to function as an expert Technical Advisor on Database related topics including backup, replication, High Availability, Disaster Recovery etc.
