Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an Database Developer on a contract opportunity with a leading company in Atlanta, Ga.
Scope of position:
• Create Sales Use tax returns for 2 states for multiple years.
• Create Access Database
Main Responsibilities:
• Develop queries, matching specific data elements, that aggregates data by client and period
• Create Data Validation reports that ensures tax amounts are accounted for
• Map query results to form image for each client and period
• Create EDI files, where appropriate, for each period that meets format specifications
Required Skills Qualifications:
• GED or HS diploma equivalent. Bachelors Preferred.
• Detail oriented
• Proven Access experience
o Combining multiple input files
o Creating queries and mapping results to specific lines on a form image where the form image is imported into the Access database
o Ability to create data validation reports from the Access database that populates pre-printed form
Desired Skill Set:
• Proven Access experience
o Combining multiple input files
o Creating queries and mapping results to specific lines on a form image where the form image is imported into the Access database
o Prior experience writing access data base. Understand query results and map them to a form image that’s been scanned in the data base
