My client, a global financial institution, is looking for a Database Developer to join their growing team on a contract basis.
The main objective of this role is to deliver effective database solutions (both transactional and reporting) that meet the current and future needs of the business.
You will be heavily involved in the analysis, design,development and implementation of database solutions in a SQL Server environment.
As a senior member of the team you will be liasing directly with business stakeholders, provide technical leadership to small project teams and take responsibility for the documentation of the projects you work on.
This role requires someone with a strong development background in SQL Server 2005/2008 (including SSIS), a strong understanding of MS technologies and experience of large corporate databases.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long term contract, working for a financial services giant in Sydneys CBD.
