DBA Lead recruitment
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Lead Oracle DBA to join a leading Australian business and recognized market leader. This is a dynamic and rapidly expanding company based close to Melbourne CBD.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a close-knit and highly talented DBA team. You will be responsible for production support, identifying performance issues for tuning, capacity planning database administration, backup recovery, operational testing, development and infrastructure solution providing. You will also be responsible for managing and coaching the DBA team to ensure effective system admin operations.
To be eligible for this role you will need to meet the following criteria:
- 6+ years’ Oracle Database administration on distributed platforms, ideally gained in large, complex, 24x7 mission critical environments
- Excellent people management and people leadership skills
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to work in high pressure environments
- Oracle Certifications highly desirable
