DCM – VP / AD
This successful team currently enjoys a high deal volume and as a result of this has the capacity for a strong individual to join this great team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the top professionals in the field and enjoy the success the team has experienced over the last few years. The client base for the group is mainly Corporate clients throughout Europe.
The Role:
- Opportunity to join a DCM team focused on origination and execution of Euro/ Sterling/ Dollar bonds
- Origination/ structuring and executing of vanilla bonds, corporate hybrid capital, liability management, private placements
- Role involves structuring products, writing and delivering marketing material, liaising with investors and clients and working closely with syndicate teams and sales.
- You will be expected to help the senior originators to increase PL of the European DCM business and help increase business with clients as well as taking responsibility for more junior staff on the team
The Candidate
- Essential to have VP or Associate Director experience of European DCM and ideally exposure to corporate clients
- Strong technical background and sound understanding of bonds and ideally Sterling/ Euro or Dollar currencies is important
- Good marketing skills, good communication and credit skills are important as well as good exposure to the Debt markets
- Strong preference to hire an established Associate already working at a proved DCM house with experience ideally of the London market
