Institutional Banking Markets (IBM) is responsible for the provision of products and services to nearly 3000 major corporate, institutional and government clients. This is achieved through origination, structuring and execution of on and off balance sheet products that are enhanced through the efficient application of taxation, accounting, risk and capital management technologies. Institutional Banking Markets is the primary face to the market for all complex financing and advisory functions for the Bank's corporate and government clients.
Role Purpose:
This role is responsible for marketing and selling the benefits of using our online foreign exchange payment system (CommBiz Markets) to existing and potential clients.
Key Accountabilities:
- Dealing foreign exchange (spot FWD) and assisting clients manage FX risk
- Identifying structured solution opportunities
- Outbound calls to existing and potential clients nationally
- Increase the number of clients nationally that actively use CommBiz Markets
- Ensure the provision of best market practice in price making, idea generation and execution of FX
- Maintain and service the electronic FX client segment
- Actively gather, maintain and report knowledge of market conditions to internal and external clients
- Develop and retain strong liaisons with internal and external clients
- Pro-active behaviours to assist growing CBAs market share.
Experience and Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of financial services and global markets products. It is essential that you can demonstrate consistent achievement against sales targets. Your performance orientation and work ethic together with a high level of tenacity, resilience, people skills and initiative will see you succeed in this role. AFMA Tier 1 accreditation and/or tertiary qualifications in a finance or business related will be highly regarded.
