We are currently seeking an experienced Operational Administration Manager to join a specialist UK subsidiary of a well respected banking and financial services group. The role will entail accurate management of Unit Stocking and finance facilities for large manufacturing businesses. You will be a senior member of a small team and there will be some supervisory responsibility within the team. You will also deputise and support the Wholesale Finance Manager on all daily activities to ensure that high standards of service are achieved.

 

Main activities and tasks for the position will include

 

·         To load manufacturer invoices onto the Wholesale Finance stocking system.

·         To ensure that invoices are validated and purchased within the Dealer’s or Manufacturer’s approved credit limit or that the relevant authority is obtained when invoices are purchased outside these limits.

·         To raise the paperwork required to effect payment to the Manufacturers or Dealers, including obtaining the relevant signatories.

·         To accurately administer payments

·         To raise, print and issue all relevant paperwork and ensure that payments are received from Dealers or Manufacturers in a timely manner, including monitoring arrears and chasing overdue amounts as required.

·         To monitor Dealer reviews dates and ensure that the preparatory work, including obtainment of the Dealer’s financial statements.

·         To process and issue asset stock checks and liaise with Brokers / Area Managers to ensure timely return.

·         Take responsibility for any query that cannot be dealt with by your team, liaising with the Wholesale Finance Manager where necessary.

·         To provide support for other members of the Wholesale Finance department in their absence.

 

 

Interested candidates should have prior experience of working within the banking and financial services industry and should be able to demonstrate prior hands on work experience within workflow and man management. You should also posess strong communications, numeracy and attention to detail skills and a positive customer care approach with the ability to work well in a close team environment.
