The Dealer Service Representative will provide customer service and order management for Timbuk2’s outside sales rep force and wholesale dealer base. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has empathy for the customer and an inner drive so strong it borders on scary. They are excited by the intersection of operations, sales and service and they enjoy inter-departmental communication and multi-tasking. They may or may not dream about Vlookups and wow others with their inbox tidiness.
What you'll be doing in this role:
- Maintain territory-specific wholesale order file, alerting customers to order status and inventory allocation.
- Work with outside Sales Reps to sell in at-once orders.
- Troubleshoot process and systems issues as they arise.
- Advise Sales Operations teams on wholesale shipping forecast, using the latest greatest Excel functions to identify conquer potential allocations issues.
- Be an advocate for your dealers and Timbuk2. You love selling things your passionate about and you’re passionate about Timbuk2.
- Make our dealer base want to call and email you because you’re so exceptionally helpful, smart and personable on the phone and email.
What you'll need to rock this role:
- 4+ years relevant experience account management experience
- Undergraduate degree in a fascinating subject.
- Mad Excel skills, fluency in CRM tools and great organizational skills.
- Strong grasp of retail math and industry standards; you speak Wholesale and Distributor fluently.
- Willingness and ability to attend trade shows and marketing events as needed.
- Empathy for the customer. They are right, even when they’re wrong!
- Self-starter; be your own master!
- High tolerance for stress mixed with a strong sense of urgency and a healthy dose of detail obsession.
- Ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly through writing and visuals.
- Love of dogs and/or willingness to hang out with them in the office.
