Opportunity

The Dealing Execution Services team is part of the Equities business and is responsible for the operational management of the Equities Dealing team. This role is to ensure that excellent support is provided to the Equity Dealers including identification and resolution of queries and issues. This person will work closely with the Equity Dealers, Dealing Execution Services team, Fund Managers and FMAs. It will be necessary for this person to communicate with other parts of MG including Investment Operations and Systems teams, and broker personnel.

Key responsibilities

*Investigate and resolve trade queries on Dealers behalf with many teams including Settlements, Transaction Processing, Systems teams Brokers.
*Escalation and reporting of dealing related incidents/errors.
*Generating dealing control reports.
*Coordination of Capital Raising applications allocations including sub-underwritings, placings and IPOs on behalf of fund managers and dealers.
*Compilation reporting for Dealing meetings.
*New Broker take-on coordination (which includes liaison with Legal Credit Risk teams).
*Maintain How-to guides and upkeep of procedures.
*Produce and distribute the bi-annual Dealing Broker Reviews.
*Assist with systems enhancements and process improvements on the Dealing desk.
*Maintain broker contact list for DR purposes.
*Ad hoc support to Dealing Execution Services Team including absence cover to Commission Dealing Assistant.

What we are looking for

*Knowledge of equity dealing operational processes advantageous.
*Practical understanding of Order Management Systems and related tools, including end to end life-cycle of a trade.
*Superb organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple priorities.
*Use initiative and logical way of working.
*Ability to work effectively under pressure and to variable deadlines.
*Excellent attention to detail.
*Self starter who can work well without close supervision and is a good team player.
*IMC/IAQ qualified or willing to learn.
*Strong Excel capabilities.
