A leading retail bank is looking for a senior compliance officer to join their dealing room. The role will offer the candidate a lot of exposure across the bank and experience in liaising with senior stakeholders. The person will have responsibility for compliance in the dealing room and will be able to grow their own team.

Role:
Dealing Room and Issuance Compliance within Market Liquidity Risk is responsible for ensuring that all non financial regulatory requirements are met and that appropriate policies and procedures are in place and are understood, and to provide the business with reassurance, or to highlight areas of deficiency, as appropriate.

The job holder will work as part of a small team professionals ensuring that Treasury's market execution and issuance activities are carried out in a fully compliant manner and that the specific regulatory aspects are pro actively managed and the risks mitigated.

Directs the team to produce accurate, insightful, high quality output, advice and guidance tailored to meet the needs of and influence the Treasurer, dealers and senior stakeholders, contributing to strategic planning and business decision-making by providing insight, control and thought leadership. 

Requirements:
Candidates need to have experience of working at a bank and being a compliance officer in the dealing room. They need to have very good regulatory and banking knowledge.
