Deals Team Lead - MA
The Americas MA Deals Team Lead will have two primary mandates:
- Contributor Relations with leading investment banks in the Americas in support of Investment Banking Deals submissions and
- Expert-level support of Thomson Reuters MA Content offerings.
The Contributor Relations Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with multi-level contacts across the investment banking, supporting Thomson Reuters' Deals content and product strategy. Day-to-day workflow will include customer service for multiple data contributors, in-depth analysis of investment banking transaction activity, and support on Deals product and content enhancements.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in finance and excellent communication skills.
- Identify, build and maintain relationships with transaction contributors through regular contact via email, phone and meetings
- Expand the contributor base of dealmakers to increase participation and response to surveys
- Identify and propose new content enhancements and strategy based on continuous engagement with data contributor firms
- Provide expert-level league table management, including management of league table criteria
- Demonstrate the value of Deals content to internal commercial teams, clients, and prospects
- Work with the Deals Intelligence team to increase the distribution of press releases and league tables
- Provide regular monthly reporting and ad hoc feedback on request and participate in other ad-hoc project work as determined

Skills
- BA/BS Business, Economics or related field
- 2 or more years of experience in investment banking or financial information services, with a concentration in MA
- Superior written and verbal communication skills/excellent interpersonal skills
- Proactive work ethic
- Demonstrated capability to develop and maintain a wide internal and external relationship network
- "Entrepreneurial" spirit and enthusiasm for the financial sector
- Full-time experience in the finance or financial information services industries
- Full-time experience in MA or primary capital markets (equity or fixed income) transaction execution or dealflow monitoring
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Familiarity with one or more financial information platforms (e.g., Thomson One, FactSet, Capital IQ)
