Debrief Administrator

An excellent opportunity has arisen at Norbert Dentressangle Logistics UK for a Debrief Administrator to join the team in Rugby. The purpose of the role is to provide a debrief service for all drivers and maintain all associated paperwork.

Shift Patterns: 15:00 - 00:30

Main accountabilities to include but not be limited to:

Debrief all drivers once they return to the depot following the completion of the duties. This should include any accident reporting, both personal and vehicle, GIT reporting and vehicle defects, contract miles sheets, exceptions sheet and the completion of required paperwork

Ensure that all GIT information is entered correctly onto the system and forwarded to the relevant depot, and that all work is completed in line with the correct Company Quality Procedures and filed away as required

Utilisation of the in house computerised systems including confirmation of deliveries, printing of pre-advice notes, final manifests, loading/unloading sheets

Downloading of all scanners returned by the drivers

Assist in the maintenance and checking of the Driver Licence Control File including checking of all drivers licences (including agency drivers) in line with the Company Core Quality Procedures, in addition to the checking of the drivers ADR kits

Assist in the issuing, maintenance, quality checks and updating of the Driver Handbooks and Folder

Assist in the preparation and briefing of new drivers on the paperwork required to be completed and the procedures to adhere to when returning to the depot following completion of the route.

Be a contact point for inbound calls and telephone enquiries

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in a transport department

Knowledge of tachograph legislation

Knowledge of Health and Safety issues

Excellent organisational skills (of self and others)

An ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels

Must be able to work on own initiative as well as part of the team

IT literate and used to working with spreadsheet applications

An Ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines without compromising accuracy
