Debt Collection Administrator

Senior Administrator / Finance Debt Management
£10.25 per hour
Leeds City Centre
6 Month Temporary Contract

As a Senior Administrator within the Debt Management team you will be responsible for collecting cancelled policy debt and Ex-employee debt through effective and efficient debt collection techniques whilst managing relationship with external Debt Collection Agencies and Solicitors.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work within established procedures, agree, monitor and action payment plans with customers/ex-employees, and work to agreed SLA’s with only a small degree of supervision.
• Reduction in debt across United Insurance System (UIS)and Ex-Employee debt by excellent methods of Debt collection, ensuring contact is timely and recoveries are maximised. Utilising waiver /write off within own authority matrix.
• All payments are banked timely and accurately and reconciled to outstanding debt identifying and resolving any issues.
• Monitor own performance and instigate actions to continually improve, provide timely and accurate MI covering accountabilities and objectives.
• Work on a day to day basis with DCA’s and Solicitors improving the service levels they provide for the company.
• Maintain personal development plan to maximise personal contribution and support team members in their learning.
• Identify, own and manage the risks involved in running our business appropriate to role, in line with the company risk framework and regulatory governance frameworks (including complaint handling).
• Identifying and delivering cost reductions and / or process efficiencies as a result of continuous improvement initiatives across all processes.

• Data Analysis Level 1
• Insurance Finance Level 1
• Problem Solving Level 1
• Risk Management Level 1
