The Decision Support Analyst is directly responsible and accountable for the management and maintenance of the analysis and reporting resources for the physician compensation system, provider productivity/patient access reporting, benefits and payroll reconciliation, and business case assessment associated with improving patient satisfaction, quality and access. The Decision Support Analysis will work closely with staff in the Physician Services department of the Mills-Peninsula Division of PAMF reporting to the medical group's Executive Director. The Decision Support Analyst will also interface with the Chief Medical Officer to develop key patient care metrics and other necessary reporting to support the MPD clinics. The Decision Support Analyst will be accountable for the timely, accurate and relevant analysis. This position must function as part of a team with the proven ability to effectively interface and communicate with multiple clients.  

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with course work in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Applied Math; experience with queries and analysis utilizing databases; business experience in supporting Accounting, Finance or Business Development department preferred; direct experience in provider focused health care enterprises including hospital and/or physician groups preferred; must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel and Word); excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong analytical and communication skills; ability to manage time effectively to meet strict deadlines; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

5-7 years experience in healthcare industry; experience with Microsoft Access and/or Microstrategies software experience; CPT-4 coding and RVU knowledge; Familiarity with Crystal Reports; Experience with EZCap;
