Decision Support Business Analyst recruitment
Opportunity: My client is a leading global Asset Management company undergoing significant, high profile business, process and systems change. This includes the upgrade of their portfolio management and data platforms and implement a scalable solution for OTC Derivatives and Investment Risk. As part of this programme they are looking for Business Analysts with experience of working directly with Fund/Portfolio Managers who will focus on helping us deliver changes to our Decision Support Systems. This role will be asset class specific (in Equity, Multi Asset and Fixed Income), at least at the outset, with day to day task management provided by the asset class COOs and possibly by the asset class I.T. Managers if appropriate.
Essential:
- Understanding of the Asset Management industry
- Experience in a business analysis role essential including business process change and technology change experience (3 - 5 years minimum)
- Experienced of requirements elicitation through direct interaction with business users and their processes (Interviews, observation and workshops)
- Evidence of working in the Investment room, and having delivered change in the decision support area.
- Candidates with investment/investment support experience may be worth exploring.
- Working closely with the Investment business – so an idea of stakeholders.
- Asset Class specialists should be considered as strong candidates given the nature of the roles.
