Decision support – Equities PC recruitment
Reporting into the 'head of' you will be required to do the performance reporting for the equities business and offer strategic advice in order to proactively drive business outcomes. You will own key relationships across the equities business and within the performance and reporting finance team. You will also be expected to take full managerial responsibilities for a small team ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting within a robust control environment. Business case review of new initiatives will also play a prominent part of the role when required.
In order to perform to the highest of standards you will need to get buy in from key stakeholders through excellent relationship management skills and technical competency. Consequently it is essential that you have worked with and have a comprehensive understanding of a variety of equities products and can demonstrate value-add business insight to the company through detailed knowledge of its key drivers. You must also be able to demonstrate consistent progression throughout your career and have strong examples of where you have management others to at least a supervisory level. It is also desirable that you have an accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
This role would be ideal for a senior product controller looking to move away from any production and into a commercially focused, value-add position whilst continuing to specialise in the equities area
