Decision Support Manager, Institutional Coverage recruitment

The Corporate Banking (CB)  Finance team, headed by Chief Financial Officer (CFO), is responsible for working with the business delivering financial leadership, control, commercial insight and advice. Our finance community is located in several countries around the world, supporting UK and Global businesses.  There are some 270 staff directly employed in CB Finance and a further large number providing support from finance shared service functions elsewhere in the RBS Group.

As Decision Support Manager, Institutional Coverage, you'll report to the Head of Non-Coverage Finance. This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop a dedicated, London-based decision support team for the Institutional Coverage business. You'll be responsible for supporting the business in achieving both its financial targets and its broader commercial and strategic goals. Key challenges involve managing and developing the financial and management information, for the growing varied Institutional Coverage business areas. You'll manage and deliver against complex issues, providing a value-adding expert service that directly supports the achievement of business objectives. 

Ideally as Decision Support Manager, Institutional Coverage, you'll have experience in lending, to include; loans margins, assets, net interest income, return on equity and earned value analysis. Additionally, it would be beneficial if you were a qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge, including preparation of accounts under IAS and the ability to operate with credibility at Managing Director level. It would also be highly useful for you to have previous banking products experience.
