The Corporate Banking (CB) Finance team, headed by Chief Financial Officer (CFO), is responsible for working with the business delivering financial leadership, control, commercial insight and advice. Our finance community is located in several countries around the world, supporting UK and Global businesses. There are some 270 staff directly employed in CB Finance and a further large number providing support from finance shared service functions elsewhere in the RBS Group.

As Decision Support Manager (DSM), you'll be the primary CB Finance interface with the designated business area. You'll support the aligned business customers and Senior Finance Manager by providing proactive and effective advice and analysis that adds value to the business. In practice, you'll be a key business contact, providing input into business strategic plans / product offerings and managing customer relationships. You'll also be responsible for developing new ideas and options to meet the needs of the business.       

Ideally as Decision Support Manager, North Scotland, you'll have experience in the delivery of budgets and forecasting and the proactive monitoring of financial performance. This includes undertaking robust performance analysis across the PL, balance sheet and risk / return metrics. Additionally, it would be beneficial if you were a qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge, including preparation of accounts under IAS, and the ability to operate with credibility at Managing Director level. It would also be highly useful for you to have previous banking products experience.
