ROLE: Systems Engineer - Defence
LOCATION: Greater Manchester
SALARY: Permanent - Negotiable dependant on experience
Leading electronics defence business is looking for a Systems Engineer to join its expanding systrems engineering team support major projects.
Reporting to the Chief Engineer the candidate will be involved in the development of several innovative projects involving the company's range of specialist electronic products.
You will provide systems engineering support across the Land and SEA domains. This will include delivering and/or overseeing all aspects of bid and project management, for example, planning and scheduling, identification and management of risk, resource management and customer liaison.
You'll have:
•Full lifecycle systems Engineering experience within Defence within the Land, Air or SEA domains
•Familiarity with DEFstan56 and DEFstan05123
•Experience in support of safety teams in systems safety programmes / compliance
