Defined Contribution (DC) Service Manager
SEI provides a number of Defined Contribution (DC) solutions to the UK marketplace. Following growth of the auto-enrolment and Master Trust business, an opportunity is currently available for a self motivated, experienced individual to be a key member of the Institutional team in managing the product and service DC clients.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this position may include some or all of the following:
- Manage the transition and servicing of SEI’s DC clients in particular ones participating in the SEI Master Trust
- Act as the key DC service person working closely with the existing service team for SEI’s DC investment only client
- Maintain knowledge of legislative trends, competitive landscape and UK market dynamics
- Coordinate member education campaigns and materials
- Coordinate and manage product development initiatives
- Technical specialist/product input into the design of the default funds
- Day to day management of the SEI Master Trust
- Maintain a close working relationship with our UK market vendors, and US based institutional product team
- Project management of DC product initiatives
- Sales Support – assist sales organization as the technical product expert in sales situations. Participate in presentations and site visits as necessary
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for marketing initiatives regarding DC program
- Liaison with the internal legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to local market guidelines.
Required Skills and Experience
- Business degree, IMC qualified would be an advantage,
- 3-5 years solid DC experience either from an investment, consulting or administration background,
- In-depth understanding of the UK Pensions market, with specific knowledge of the DC bundled market,
- Some client and/or sales management experience would be preferred,
- An essential attribute is a strong passion to work in DC as a career path,
- Strong organizational and analytical skills,
- Superior Project management skills,
- Relationship management skills and confidence in servicing clients, consultants and other industry participants,
- Self Motivated,
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team,
- Some travel required within UK as well as to US.
