As the asset data requirements for Solvency II are extended it is expected that there will be a requirement for a Data Management team to support process and quality of data utilised by the Group.
The main objective of the role is to provide leadership and decision-making in resolving issues relating to requirements and working towards an operating model that would be managed by this candidate. They will also need to manage the objectives of the team, build SLAs with key stakeholders.
You shall provide leadership, direction and be a point of escalation for any conflicting asset data sourcing issues and ensure a consistent approach across the business with respect to asset data sourcing, acting in the best interests of the group.
Additionally, you will work with IT and business solutions to ensure the data management requirements of the Group are delivered effectively and work with internal specialist resources in the area of market data as well as external consultancies to secure the best commercial terms from market data providers.
You will possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to record and communicate clearly and effectively, both written and orally, be a proactive self starter, with the ability to identify problems and have the drive to follow them through to resolution.
