The AppAssure acquisition is Dell's latest investment as it broadens its enterprise portfolio for a complete range of data center products and solutions and extends its Fluid Data architecture to constantly adapt to change, deliver business results faster, and protect data everywhere.

This role's responsibility is on-the-job training of newly hired IPS1 reps, both in a sale's environment (in the main) and in some classroom settings.

This role will actively participate in the administration and facilitation of technical training courses for internal and external customers to drive critical business outcomes. Interact with Dell team members and functional organizations, partners, and customers, to develop specifications for content of courses. Curriculum content may include, but is not limited to, Business-related (sales, services, operations, finance, etc.) content, product, technology, tools, and processes.

Principal Accountabilities:

Works with subject matter experts and content development experts to ensure that course material achieves desired learning outcomes.

Collaborate with area managers and directors when contributing to the development and design of curriculum through research, Dell team member input, and advanced functional/technical knowledge.

Works with technical SMEs and/or attends pilot training and recommends adjustments to courseware to achieve desired learning outcomes.

Ensures train-the-trainer sessions are conducted in a standardized, accurate, and level appropriate manner to ensure maximum learning and knowledge transfer and test trainer delivery capability within sessions.

Works closely with stakeholders to continuously improve the effectiveness of the content.

Uses strong project management processes to ensure quality and timely completion of development projects.

Ensures regional and cultural challenges are considered and incorporated into the training program and course content.

Stays current in best practices, tools, and applications across learning and training industry.

Understands and applies principles, concepts, theories, technologies and standards of professional field.

Develops and applies specialized knowledge within own discipline.

Deepens knowledge through exposure to new assignments and continuous learning.

Knowledge of related industry considerations.

Good working knowledge and demonstrated ability utilizing systems, tools and procedures to accomplish job.

Builds deeper understanding of processes, procedures, customers and organization.

Assists program or process development and implementation.

Coordinates activities and processes.

Applies research, information gathering and analytical and interpretation skills to problems of diverse scope.

Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate complexity.

Screens, categorizes, evaluates, reconciles, reports and resolves data integrity issues.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Demonstrates good communication skills (written and verbal).

Uses creativity in daily work.

Demonstrated ability to apply adult education principals and theory.

Preferred knowledge of applicable metrics and how to measure and report on them.

Demonstrates good coaching skills, process skills, and consulting skills.

Effectively determines current and desired state through thorough needs analysis to support design, development, and business case.

Interacts comfortably and effectively with stakeholders and SMEs.

Transactional sales cycle acumen highly preferred
