Demand Planner
About the Job
Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Management the Demand Planner - CPFR is a primary contact for demand planning, point of sale ( POS ), order fulfillment, and full CPFR (Collaborative Planning and Replenishment) with assigned National Accounts and other strategic customers as well as internal liaison between departments. This position supports these major channel partners who represent over $250 million a year in business.
- Acts as the primary contact for all SEMCA product categories sold to assigned account(s) for CPFR. (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment)
- Responsible for the commitment of product to assigned customers
- Responsible for entry of the accounts' monthly forecasts into the APO system.
- Responsible for recording the weekly POS from the assigned accounts.
- Responsible for insuring the customers orders are received while adhering to on time receipt of goods at the customer's destination.
- Responsible for Sharp's performance within the accounts compliance program.
- Assists the Sales Director in the set up of items within customer's systems.
- Maintains necessary information via any customer's web applications regarding product and associated demand forecasts. (Knowledge and use of Retail Link is a plus)
- Acts as a liaison with sales and product management with respect to demand, fulfillment, and sales of accounts.
- Tracks advertising activity of assigned account(s) and prepares analysis of that activity on sales.
- Researches issues and/or problems of accounts regarding various operational issues of the business relationship.
- Prepares accurate, legible, and timely reports as requested by management, recognizing that this activity is an integral part of the position.
- BS, Marketing or other Business related degree required.
- 4+ years experience in SCM related function is required.
- Very strong oral and written communication skills,
- Candidates MUST have Advanced/Expert Excel skills and Power Point skills.
- Knowledge of Business Warehouse is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP is required.
- Occasional travel required.
