Job content
- Develop accurate high quality sales forecasts by using best practices and business knowledge to reach fixed targets for the KPI’s
- Contribute to launch/relaunches processes to ensure the generation of an effective plan for minimizing obsolete stocks and achieving the successful product introduction
- Review the on-going performance of the promotions particularly with Key account management and update sales forecasts based on on-going reviews of up-lifts achieved versus plans
- Work together with marketing, sales finance to fully understand proposed year plans and to align sales forecasts with fiscal year plan
- Foster cross-functional discussion to improve the quality and the effective interpretation of inputs (eg. Marketing intelligence) to develop the sales forecasts
- Apply individual judgment and knowledge of the business to reach a final forecast for brand/new products/key segments
- Use statistical tools provided by SAP APO/SCM to generate an accurate baseline forecast
- Analyse forecast bias, identify potential sources of forecast error and develop action plans to improve forecasts accuracy
- Create and maintain material masters in SAP systems
Profile
- Bachelor degree in economics/logistics
- First relevant experience in a similar function
- Knowledge of supply chain concepts
- System skills (Windows tools, SAP PLM/R3/APO knowledge)
- Good master of the two national languages and english
