Demand Planner
My client is a design and manufacturer of medical devices and is looking for a Demand Planner for an 18 month contract.
Responsibilities include the following:
Responsible for producing the total EMEA Demand Plan for a specific range of Products
Co-ordination of closed loop forecasting process, in line with global Sales and Operations Planning (SOP) process, to ensure that plans are accurate and consistent between EMEA markets, Marketing and Supply Chain.
Represent the team in the SOP Demand Supply commit process with one of six global manufacturing centres.
Co-ordinate the implementation of New Product Introductions with International Markets and Marketing teams; specifically be integral member of the Global Project Core Teams.
Proactively represent the Demand Team at external events such as Market, Sales and Marketing Meetings/Conferences
Responsible for driving continuous improvements in forecasting techniques and processes.
Coach and mentor more junior Demand Planners where appropriate
Responsible for driving internal and cross-functional Demand Team improvement programs
Experience
Strong educational background (Degree or equivalent)
Strong Supply chain experience, preferably in Demand Planning function
Proven track record of driving continuous improvement
Analytical and structured approach
Ability to work as part of corss functional team
Excellent PC Skills
