Demand Supply Planner
(Temporary position)
Principal Accountabilities
PSI Management and Allocation
- Support EU Planner population by providing accurate and on-time allocation/shipping information through complete PSI process
- Control Delivery Plan and release monthly/weekly allocation for EU Subsidiaries for relevant product group
- Participate in SOP meetings with EU Subsidiaries (as required)
- Related KPI Management (analysis and action)
- Support Demand Planner/SCP Team to implement new Forecasting processes (as required)
Supply Purchasing
- Solve inbound and purchase related issues
- Participate in SOP meetings with Supply Sites (as required)
- PO Management
Inventory and product management
- Inventory management – analyse EU stocks to minimize inventory costs and improve stock utilization within EDC/EU. Communicate and escalate with Subsidiaries as appropriate.
- EDC inventory re-allocations to Aging stocks and optimize stock
- Product Life Cycle Management
- Related KPI Management (analysis and action)
LGELS organization and systems/processes
- Support product line expansion as required
- Support process improvement within Organization
Responsibility Authorisation
EDC is responsible for information and goods flow of relevant Product Group between factories, EDC and Sales Subsidiaries. She/he is finally responsible for optimizing balance between demand and EDC distributed products through EDC allocation process. She/he has the authority to change agreed allocation based on more actual market and internal consensus. In case changes are necessary these changes are communicated to all parties involved at all times.
Essential Experience
Good overview of commercial processes, production planning and retail interface/order fulfilment
Ability to work assertively in a cross functional environment and attain consensus between all parties
Strong analytical skills
Flexible, open minded, cross-functional, multi-cultural and team player
Excellent communication skills
2 to 5 years experience working in a Supply Chain (or Sales and Logistics) environment
Good knowledge of MS Office applications (part. Excel intermediary to advanced) and ERP (Oracle / SAP)
Fluent understanding of verbal and written English
Desirable Experience
Basic Knowledge and experience of Forecasting
Understanding of FMCG / Electronics business
Good presentation skills
Strong character to debate/challenge demand/supply with relevant parties
Educated to a degree level (Hbo)
Knowledge of Logistics Supply Chain principles
Prior experience with planning systems
