Demurrage and Freight Operations Analyst recruitment
We are looking for an ongoing temporary Demurrage and Freight Operations analyst. This role will be working closely with Claims, ShipOps and Traffic teams and be responsible for identifying and actioning new demurrage claims and supporting various claims teams with a variety of activities.
The successful candidate will follow up with counterparts on agreed demurrage claims to ensure funds are collected promptly.
The day to day duties will include but not be limited to:
-acknowledgement of inbound claims
-leveraging position list to identify new potential claims
-chasing historical outstanding receivables
-working with negotiators to clear large accounts
-calculation of demurrage claims
