Fortis College, located in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking FT and PT Dental Hygiene Faculty:

 

Qualifications:

•         Dental Hygienist with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Dental Hygiene or related field. 

          Master's Degree preferred.

•         Professional experience necessary to understand and fulfill the program goals

•         Documented background in the assigned subject

•         Must have a current Dental Hygiene or Dental License or the ability to obtain one in  

          Georgia

•         Must have current CPR certification/health care provider

•         Excellent oral and written communications

•         Five years of full time clinical experience

•         Prior teaching experience preferred

•         Documented background in educational methodology

 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•         Didactic, laboratory and clinical teaching

•         Course preparation, presentation, development, course management, grading and

          evaluation

•         Participate and support clinic or pre-clinic assignments

•         Student mentoring and advising

•         Accept and participate in other duties as assigned
