-- Dental Office Manager - (Job Number: 127812) Description Maintain efficient ongoing operations of the dental facility appropriately administering Kaiser Permanente policy and procedures, developing competent staff, fostering a member centric service culture, ensuring patient and employee satisfaction, supervising multiple personnel and supporting the attainment of Dental Program Strategic Goals. Essential Functions: * Ensures members have a highly satisfactory care experience by providing for accessible, high quality care and service that meets the needs of our members. Facilitate customer service excellence. * Maintains efficient, ongoing operations and dental services at assigned dental office. Link performance expectations of individuals and the dental office to the strategic goals by alignment with PDA and the LMP to collectively lead change efforts. Adopt and communicate best practices both internally and externally. * Facilitate and encourage staff development, enabling staff to achieve results by providing information, encouragement and discretionary authority. Encourage problem solving and promote innovative thinking among staff, lead through influence and collaboration. Supervise multiple personnel including dental hygienists, dental assistants, member assistants and dental aides. Hire, coach correct and terminate staff as necessary. * Maintain constructive working relationships with management team members, providers and staff through collaboration and teamwork. * Ensure a safe work environment. Performs other duties as requested. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * 3 to 5 years of progressive supervisory and management experience * Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and experience * Demonstrates customer-focused service skills. * Team building, group facilitation and financial management * Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities Preferred Qualifications: * 3 years work related experience in dental or clinical care setting * Degree in Business or Health Care Administration * Thorough knowledge of health care environment * Working knowledge of labor/contractual agreements Salary Range: $72,080 - $98,720 Primary Location: Washington-Vancouver-Salmon Creek Medical/Dental Offices 14406 NE 20th Scheduled Hours: 40 Shift: Day Working Days: Mon - Fri With Occasional Sat.
