Position Description

Reporting to the Director of Deployment Services, the Deployment Specialist is responsible for the successful deployment, adoption and utilization of RelayHealth solutions to health care sys-tems and medical practices.

The Deployment Specialist is responsible for identifying opportunities for RelayHealth solutions to optimize and automate clinical and administrative processes at ambulatory medical practices, then training physicians and staff on the components of the ser-vice that meets their needs. This role requires an understanding of medical practice operations, knowledge of health care technology, and strong communication, presentation and training skills.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of, and experience in rolling out workflow products, as well as a high comfort level working with physicians and their staff.

This individual will be responsible for:

Conducting practice workflow consultations and documenting current vs. future state processes

Coordinating and facilitating end user deployment and training activities

Documenting and completing service configuration activities

Tracking progress toward established adoption and utilization goals

Becoming a subject matter expert on RelayClinical application features, functions and configuration options

Analyzing and communicating monthly utilization reports to customers

Identifying opportunities for EHR and Practice Management System

interoperability at ambulatory practices

Minimum Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Strong customer interaction/conflict resolution skills

Self-motivated, able to work independently

Medical office and/or electronic medical records experience preferred

Willingness to travel (70%) to client sites

Bachelors degree

One to three years of applicable experience

Familiarity with hospital operations a plus

Education

4-year degree or equivalent experience in customer support
