Deputy CEO, Wholesale Business recruitment

Direct the strategic sales and marketing of different businesses across the bank (i.e. Corporate Banking, Trade Finance Finance Institution and Treasury) to achieve target.

Assist the CEO to develop and maintain strategic business plans for the respective business divisions, focus in long term development as well as sustainable revenue generation.

Act as key member of the senior management team and participate in management committee e.g. Asset Liability Committee, drive business development activities; deal with key clients and external bodies.

Represent the firm to deal with key clients and external bodies in order to drive business development activities and maximize the brand value of the bank.

Responsible for new business development and growth of existing businesses, product coverage and client relationship for all responsible departments.

Develop and maintain client relationship by leveraging the relationships across all front line businesses to maximize revenue opportunities. Major potential clients include Hong Kong local firms, mainland local firms, mainland firms in Hong Kong and Hong Kong firms in mainland.

Direct cross selling initiatives across other subsidiaries under the Company Group, identify opportunities, resources and resolve issues to maximize synergy.

Partner with Risk Management and other control departments to manage credit risks; manage key ratios such as liquidity ratios and ensure compliance on e.g. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating Terrorist Financing (CTF) policies.

Set both mid and long term goals for senior staff across all the departments and direct the team to achieve their goals.    

Ensure all responsible departments comply with the Company Group’s requirements on policies and procedures.

LEADERSHIP SKILL

Lead and direct all staff across Corporate Banking, Trade Finance and Finance Institution and Treasury.

Train and motivate the team to achieve service excellence.

Responsible for the overall performance across all the responsible departments.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree holder with 15 years of experience and in-depth knowledge in corporate banking, trade finance and institutional business in Hong Kong or China.

Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks in Hong Kong and related banking regulations for proper conduct of banking business.

Detailed knowledge of trade finance products and operation

Strong decision making, problem solving, people management skill

Strong leadership and management ability in developing, motivating and retaining critical talents and building an effective management team

Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
