As a result of a recent restructure, an opportunity exists in the client management team, for an individual to provide support in maintaining and developing the organisations relationships with their clients. Key accountabilities will include:
- Working closely with Senior Client Managers, providing sales, marketing and administrative support in their dealings with clients, with a view to being allocated a portfolio of clients to service.
- Supporting Senior Client Managers to ensure the company is consistently 'front of mind' for clients, meeting agreed client service levels.
- Developing business plans, marketing objectives and strategies.
- Identify opportunities to develop and provide further services to allocated clients, and coordinate resources in the development of client solutions.
- Liaise internally with relevant stakeholders within Underwriting, Claims, management etc to ensure a holistic approach to servicing clients.
- Provide reports on client activity and progress on the implementation of agreed services.
- Undertake professional development to enhance technical expertise across the main classes of Property Casualty reinsurance business, and further develop sales and clients relationship skills.
Although a support role initially, you will ultimately be allocated a portfolio of clients, and will involve close liaison with insurance company clients and brokers. With this in mind, strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills will be important, ideally gained from a sales or client focused role. Suitable candidates are likely to have a degree and, ideally, insurance qualifications. A broad understanding of the insurance markets across Australia and New Zealand is also required. You will be numerate and computer literate (Excel, Lotus Notes etc).
