Deputy CRO recruitment
My client requires a risk manager at Deputy CRO level
Key Responsibilities:
- Deputise for Chief Risk officer where appropriate with key external and internal stakeholders, industry working groups, management meetings and risk committees.
- Lead aspects of risk/business change initiatives and be the point of contact for risk/business change. Partner with product, middle office, compliance, legal and technology
- Own and navigate risk enhancements and new product initiatives within internal and external committees and working groups. Be responsible for the associated legal and regulatory engagement
- Own and ensure continuous review and enhancement of risk and default management practices and processes
Person Specification:
- Extensive experience working at investment bank/buyside firm working in the area of rates swaptions trading or rates swaptions market risk management (or similar)
- Track record of delivery in business delivery and process re-engineering with financial products
- Ability to convey complex, technical or abstract concepts across to a variety of audiences at all levels. Strong problem solving, analytical and conceptional skills
- Detailed knowledge of market and credit risk management techniques, such as VAR, backtesting, stress testing, and model governance
