Burnie City Council has a new, exciting and rewarding opportunity for an enthusiastic person to assist the Director in running the day to day operations of the Burnie Arts and Function Centre and the Burnie Regional Art Gallery.
The role will see you assisting in the areas of visual and performing arts programming, marketing, day to day supervision of reception staff, administration duties and customer service.
To be eligible for this role you will possess the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in managing arts/ function/convention or similar large multi-proposes centres
- Experience in visual and performing arts programming and community cultural development
- Proven business skills
- Understanding of arts and cultural issues and funding opportunities
This position will see the successful candidate offered full training and support upon commencement.
